Arabic captions and dialects

Arabic captions are written right to left in proper Arabic fonts, and you choose how they read: as spoken, keeping the dialect, or in Modern Standard Arabic.

Steps

  1. Choose the spoken language, or let the tool detect it.
  2. Pick the dialect if you know it: Levantine, Gulf, Egyptian, Iraqi, Maghrebi, Sudanese, Yemeni or Modern Standard Arabic.
  3. Choose the captions: Arabic, English, a file for each, or both on screen with an Arabic line and an English line.
  4. Add the names and words to spell right, and the words that should stay as they are.
  5. Choose the digits shown inside the video: Western or Arabic-Indic.

Can an Arabic video get English captions?

Yes. Choose English or both, and the Arabic speech is put into English captions.

Can I fix a word after delivery?

Yes. Caption text can be edited on the review page, 3 times per version, without using a round of changes.
