Who we are
DN Edit is an AI video editing service operated by DN Studio (filmsbydn.com). These terms apply when you create an account, upload files or order an edit.
Your account
You sign in with a 6-digit code sent to your email; there is no password. Keep access to your email safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be 18 or older to order. One person may hold one account.
Invite codes and free edits
An invite code gives one free order on the account that redeems it. Its service, footage and finished-length limits are shown before upload. It can be used once, expires on the date shown and has no cash value. Tester codes cover any service within their limits and the free processing-cost allowance. Orders above that allowance pause before editing. Promo codes that cover part of a price show the difference before payment.
What you buy
You pay the price shown before checkout for the services and options you choose. The price is set by the finished length, the service, any extra footage over the amount included, a short version and any extra shapes, and it doesn't change after you pay. If the files you upload turn out longer than the order, you choose: pay the difference, edit only what you paid for, or cancel for a full refund.
How it's made
The AI plans and makes the edit, and every video goes through a final quality check before delivery. If something in your brief isn't clear, the AI asks on your project page; if there is no answer by the time shown, it goes ahead with the choice it named. Delivery times shown are estimates.
Changes
Every order includes at least one round of changes, and orders of $200 and above include two. Rounds are used within the changes window shown on your project, counted from each delivery; when the window closes, the project is marked done. Editing caption text doesn't use a round. A change is a fix or adjustment to the delivered video, not a new video. If we made a mistake, we fix it for free.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a project until editing starts and get a full refund, or your free edit back. If we can't deliver your order, you get a full refund. Once a video has been delivered, the payment isn't refundable, but we keep working with you within the included changes. The full rules are on the Refunds page.
Your files, references, brand kits and intros
You keep every right to the files you upload. A video you upload as a style reference is used only to measure its style (pace, captions, colour and structure) and is deleted after measuring; its footage and music are never copied into your edit. Brand kits, saved styles, intros and outros stay on your account until you delete them and are used only in your own projects.
Your content
You confirm you have the right to upload everything in your files, and that the people who appear in them agreed to be filmed and shown in the way you ask. The music and sound effects we add are made new for your video, and you may use the finished video on social media, websites and ads. We don't use your files to train AI.
What we won't edit
We refuse content that breaks our Acceptable use policy: illegal, hateful, sexual or violent content, content that uses someone's face or voice without permission, and political campaign content. If we refuse an order for this reason, you get a full refund, unless the upload was made to abuse the service.
Payments
Our payment processor acts as merchant of record for card orders and handles payment, tax, receipts and refunds. Its identity and applicable terms are shown at checkout.
Liability
We take great care with every edit, but we can't guarantee a result for any platform, audience or campaign. Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow such a limit.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we show the date of the change here and email you about important changes before they apply to new orders.

These terms are also available in Arabic. If the two versions differ, the English version applies.
