Very big projects
Projects over 100 files, 6 hours of footage or 200 GB are custom projects: send the details on the big projects page and get a quote within one business day. A custom upload takes up to 1,000 files and 1 TB, from a desktop browser.
Steps
- Send the details from the big projects page. Numbers the tool measured are filled in for you.
- We reply with a price, a booked editing date and the upload limits for your project.
- Upload in your browser on a stable connection. The uploader resumes, so it can run over several days.
- Real upload times: 100 GB takes about 2.2 hours at 100 Mbps and about 7.4 hours at 30 Mbps.
- When the upload is complete, pay, and the edit runs on the booked date.
Questions
How long will my upload take?
100 GB takes about 2.2 hours at 100 Mbps and about 7.4 hours at 30 Mbps. The uploader shows the time left from your real speed.
Can I send a download link or a hard drive instead?
No. Footage is uploaded through the site only. Links are never downloaded, so every file goes through the same private, checked upload.
What if the project is bigger than 1 TB?
It is split into several custom orders, for example one for each day of the event.
