Videos aren't downloaded from links. Screen-record the video while it plays, then upload the recording; the app's buttons around it are masked out when the look is measured.
Steps
- iPhone: open Control Centre, tap Screen Recording, play the video, then stop the recording.
- Android: open Quick Settings, tap Screen record, play the video, then stop.
- Use the screen recorder of your system (on Windows the Snipping Tool, on a Mac Shift-Command-5).
- Crop the app's buttons if you can, then upload the recording as a video you like.
Questions
Why don't you download from links?
Downloading from platforms breaks their terms and would bring in files nobody checked. A recording you make stays your choice.
Does a screen recording work as well?
Yes, for pace, captions and colour. The platform's buttons and overlays are masked out before the look is measured.
