Acceptable use policy

Draft · last updated November 2026

Why this policy exists

DN Edit edits videos for businesses, creators and families. To keep it safe for them and for the people in their footage, every order follows these rules.

What we refuse

Content that is illegal where you or we are; sexual content; content that sexualises or endangers children in any way; hate speech, harassment, threats or content that praises violence; content that promotes self-harm, weapons or illegal drugs; misleading medical, financial or legal claims; scams and impersonation; and political campaign or election content.

Faces, voices and consent

Don't upload footage that uses a real person's face or voice in a way they didn't agree to, including deepfakes. For weddings and events you confirm that guests may be filmed; you can choose to hide guests' faces. Videos that show children need a parent's or guardian's consent. Clinics confirm the written consent of every patient shown.

Music, references and other people's work

Upload only music, fonts, logos and footage you have the right to use. A video you share as a style reference is used only to measure its style and is never copied into your edit.

What happens if an order breaks the rules

We stop the order, tell you why, and refund it in full, unless the upload was made to abuse the service. Repeated or serious abuse closes the account, and illegal content may be reported to the authorities.

Report content or a video

If you see content made with DN Edit that breaks these rules, or a video of you that you didn't agree to, email nebras@filmsbydn.com with a link or a description, what is wrong, and how to reach you. We reply within one business day, remove the content from our examples and our servers while we check, and tell you what we did.

Rights holders

If you believe your work was used without permission, send the same details plus proof that you hold the rights. We act on valid notices quickly.
